Advises, facilitating special needs, psychologists, free health clinic, great study tips and courses related to mental health and coping with student life are some of the welfare offers we have for you as a student at Volda College University. We care and look after each other – and hope we can contribute to a safe, easy and happy student life.
Special needs
Any difficulties or challenges that can make your studies a bit more complicated? We’ll help you find solutions and adjust in both everyday life and for exams.
Student counsellor
Need anyone to talk to? Our student councellor at Studentsamskipnaden are there for you. You don’t need an appointment, just stop by.
Student chaplain
Our student chaplain (studenthumanist) is someone you can talk to and think together with, on ethical and existential questions.
Student priests
As a part of the counselling offer at VUC, we also have student priests you can meet for a conversation. Any subject you want to raise, and regardless of your religious views, they are here for you.
Sikresiden.no
Know what to do if something happens, or help prevent any situation by being prepared. Local emergency numbers and life saving knowledge, especially made for students and employees.
Student representative
In Norwegian «Studentombud». This is an independent assistance person who can advise you as a student on what corrections you have in relation to your study situation.
Speak up
Anything you want to report on behalf of yourself or others, this is the place for finding the right someones and get in direct touch.
Free health clinic
Every Tuesday and Thursday students can visit our free health clinic for youth and students. No appointment needed!
Psychologists
Studentsamskipnaden co-operates with experienced psychologists. The waiting time is usually shorter than for the public services.
