Writing scripts for different media is a growing industry. This course focuses on writing scripts for stage and screen. This course is mainly a digital course, with individual guidance, that introduces the students to script writing. Read more about the course.
The students will work on:
- Idea development and synopsis
- Constructing characters and plot
- Dramaturgy
- Dialogue and subtext

a) The course is digitally based, with written work to be handed in and critiqued through the course of the semester.
b) The classes will consist of a variety of teaching methods:
- digital seminars
- net lectures and tasks
- script readings and film viewings
- 5 plays in 5 days - challenge
The course will have a special focus on individual guidance to help the students develop their script writing skills.
