All teaching at the campus area is cancelled

Volda University College cancels all campus teaching from Thursday 12th of March. Campus classes will be replaced with alternative teaching as soon as possible. Online education goes as planned.


Thursday, 12th of March, the crisis management of Volda University College (VUC) presented several measures to prevent spreading of the Corona virus. 

– We take the situation very seriously and all physical education and campus classes is cancelled. Alternative teaching starts as soon as possible and all scheduled online teaching goes as planned, says director Karen Lomeland Jacobsen.


Several new measures were adopted at Volda University College on 12th of March:

  • All major meetings/seminars and conferences at VUC are cancelled from 12th of March
  • Sports building closed
  • Student service, Pangaia and the library personell will help you through e-mail and telephone only


There will be regular meetings in the crisis mangement at HVO, which closely follow the situation.
