Pangaia trainees 2025/2026
Are you a responsible, proactive, and social person, interested in internationalisation, other cultures, languages and backgrounds? Then you might just be the right person for us! The International Office is happy to announce that we are looking for two new trainees in Pangaia. The positions are available from 1st August 2025 until 30th June 2026, in other words, the entire duration of the academic year 2025/2026.

Pangaia is part of the International Office at Volda University College (VUC) and is in many ways our front office. Pangaia is the home-away-from home for the international and local students and is meant to be a place of interaction for all Volda students. It is situated right in the heart of our university college, in Berte Kanutte building, and over the years has become an iconic, permanent part of VUC, and an important part of student’s campus-experience.
The new trainees will be in charge of running the meeting point Pangaia and assisting the staff at the International Office with other tasks related to internationalisation. However, the perfect candidates are also expected to take initiative and help create the best exchange experience for all our international students and work actively towards the integration between international and local students. In addition, proficiency in SoMe is a highly appreciated quality in our future Pangaia trainees and a requirement for the positions.
The applications must include a motivation letter and Curriculum Vitae. The applications must be submitted by email, to international@hivolda.no
Deadline for submitting the application is 20th April 2025. We will contact relevant candidates within one week after the deadline, and those passing the first selection round will be called for interviews, on Zoom/Teams/in person, during weeks 18 and 19, from 28th to 9th May 2025.
