Ann Kristin Emblem is offered the position of interim director at Volda University College

The University College Board at Volda University College has decided to offer director of studies Ann Kristin Emblem an intermediate position as director from 1st of August 2022.

Ann Kristin Emblem (59) was employed as director of studies at the university college in 2021. She has, among other things, a degree in law from the University of Oslo and has a master's degree in knowledge management from the Copenhagen Business School. She has previously worked as a rector / regional leader in Folkeuniversitetet Midt-Noreg, county tax manager in Nord-Trøndelag, tax manager in Trondheim municipality and has also held several other leadership positions.

Volda University College needs a new interim director from 1st of August because the current director Karen Lomeland Jacobsen has resigned. It is uncertain how long the interim director will function, but it will be clarified when the University College Board decides in June on the management model for the future.
