From the new year, a new contingent of exchange students will arrive in Volda, and they need to be welcomed in a warm and welcoming manner. To contribute to this, an international buddy week will be organised between 9 and 15 January.
During this time, you as a buddy have the opportunity to get to know new people from different cultures and make them feel included and give their study life in Volda a great start!
There will be an information meeting, Tuesday 29 November from 14:00 - 15:00. You will receive an invitation by e-mail.
This is the wish of you as an international sponsor:
- You are open, informative and an organised person
- You are available week 2 in January
- You make yourself understood in English
- You are ready to plan activities for new exchange students
- Has basic knowledge of Volda and the university college
If you become a buddy for international students throughout the semester, you fulfill one of three requirements to obtain the Certificate of Internationalisation .
