Former student Maria Mikkelsen nominated for journalism award
Mikkelsen is one of two journalists from the newspaper Verdens Gang (VG) behind the story of 13 year old Odin, which received much attention when it was published last November.
The award will be handed out at the Norwegian Union of Journalists’ national convention on March 11.
Mikkelsen has worked for VG since 2012. She has a bachelor in Journalism from Volda University College, and has previously worked for NRK News and was editor at NuorajTV.
