In Volda, we have a free health clinic for youths and students (under 25 years old) located at the ground floor of the town hall (Volda Rådhus). Their opening hours are every Tuesday and Thursdag from 2 – 4.30 pm. No need to book an appointment, simply drop by if you want to!

At the free health clinic for students, there’s two nurses. Each Tuesday, there’s also a doctor. They welcome all students at the age of 25 and under. And as mentioned: No need to book an appointment.

- Simply show up and report to our front desk, and wait in line, says Lisbeth Hoggen Totland, one of the nurses at the health clinic. - Please, do not hesitate to reach out to us if there’s anything on your mind, from birth control questions to STDs or physical issues. Some need information on who to talk to in certain matters, to do a pregnancy test or simply some advice on both mental or pyshical health. We can help you, says Hoggen Totland.

The free health clinic is on of several welfare offers to the students at Volda University College. We also have psychology services, student priest, student chaplain.
