Or perhaps you just want to learn more about Norwegian literature and culture and discuss it with other international students? If the answer to one or more of these questions is YES, “Reading Norway” is the course for you!
“Reading Norway. Norwegian literature in translation”, code NLIT101, is a 15 ECTS-course open to all students who are interested in learning about Norwegian literary and cultural history, regardless of their study programme. The course offers an overview of Norwegian literature in English translation from the Viking age up till today. The course locates Norwegian literary works within the context of the development of European literature, and welcomes cross-cultural approaches. Join us in our journey through Norway and its cultural heritage!
