Exciting International Program
On the day there will be exotic dancing, music by the student band Belveder and the Volda University College choir, free international lunch for everyone, international guests and stands presenting a selection of the exchange possibilities for VUC students . In addition, you all have a chance to win 8 000 Norwegian Kroner to visit a partner institution free of choice.
–I hope to see as many as possible at Berte Kanutte on International Day, says Head of the International Office Cecilie Wilhelmsen.
She reminds everyone about the main purpose of International Day.
–We want all of our students to be inspired to spend a semester abroad, so please take this chance to talk to our representatives from abroad as well as VUC students who have been on exchanges at one of our partner universities, says Wilhelmsen.
International Night
The program at Volda University College will finish at 14.30hrs, however there will be an international quiz at 20.00hrs at Rokken and a full concert after with Samsaya at Klubb Mittwoch, Det Grøne Treet.
–The concerts at Volda University College and Det Grøne Treet will be very different, so you should really take in both. I am really excited about “Breaking Bad” in Volda, says an enthusiastic Samsaya.
Tickets for the concert are available from Monday, February 6th at Pangaia (10.30hrs- 15.30hrs, Monday-Friday), and Det Grøne Treet.
