Volda students film World Championship in Falun

─  I feel quite priviledged to be working here during the WSC in Falun. We have not a lot of experience yet, so we are just thrown into it, but I feel we are getting it right. It is assignments like this that build self-confidence, says journalism student Tiril Solvang.

WSC lasts from 18 February to 1 March, and the journalism students are divided into two groups of about ten students per week. Students have received some training in advance as they specialize in TV, yet there is much they have never encountered before and hence there is much to learn.

─  Our main task is to entertain during the breaks, we films for large screens both in the ski jump and the ski arena. We are also fortunate to work during the medal ceremonies, both as photographers and in the directing room. We actually get to experience everything that happens during the World Cup. It's fantastic, journalism student Carloline Tolfsen adds.
