Volding of the Week: Dunia
Dunia came to Volda as a student and has stayed her since, working at Pangaia - the meeting place between international and Norwegian students at the university college.
Who are you?
I’m Dunia, I’m from Spain and I work here at Pangaia as an international assistant, helping the international students with everything they need. I pick them up at the airport; bring them to their rooms and so on.
What are your passions?
Sports! I like basketball and triathlon. Volda is good for running, like around the lake and other places. And also the mountains are nice – I like hiking as well.
And I like to be with friends. To meet new people and making friends.
What’s the best thing about Volda?
The student life, the student environment, the student family! It’s really good. And the International Office cares a lot about this environment, and they try to gather the international students together with the Norwegian students and make them feel like home.
