Going down under with Volda University College

Thirty Volda University College students are doing their studies at Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia this term.

The students are enrolled in VUC's Australian-Asian Studies Program.  This program allows students to earn 30 VUC credits while attending classes and fulfilling course requirements at Griffith University's Queensland College of Arts campus, right in the heart of Brisbane.   Later in the semester, the students will travel to Tokyo, Hiroshima, and Kyoto  to learn about Japanese culture and society.  The program offers many possibilities for independent research, and for travel too.  Here, Volda students are pictured during their week's stay in the Outback town of Bourke, Australia.
