HRH Crown Price Haakon opened the Internationalization 2013 conference. He shared his personal experience as an exchange student at UC Berkley and applauded the importance of internationalization within education. During his speech, Crown Prince Haakon underlined that studying abroad, for one or more semesters, offers one a good view of the world and at the same time, puts a perspective on how we see the world.

-I got a lot from studying abroad. Setting the studies aside, I would also like to mention the student life. I experienced the world in a different way, said the Crown Price.
