International students in Geiranger
International Office at Volda University College (VUC) arranges a trip to Geiranger every autumn. This year 80 international students joined the bus and ferry ride to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Geiranger.
The one-day trip included a cruise on the beautiful Geiranger fjord, stops at various viewpoints and visit to the Norwegian Fjord Centre. International students had the opportunity to learn more about the history of one of Norway’s most visited areas and fjord, as well as to visit the local chocolate factory, take pictures with the trolls and buy Norwegian souvenirs.

Many of the students documented the trip through pictures, shorts videos and recordings. Miquel Rial Sole, who is an exchange student from our partner university in Lleida, Spain, made a short clip from the trip. You can watch it here.
