Self-service facilities

Students and employees have access to the Library outside of staffed hours. To open the door, use your VUC student card or employee card with your pin code in the card reader by the main entrance to the Library on the 1st floor. 

Self-service hours:

Monday – Sunday 07:00-24:00

During self-service hours you can use reading rooms and group study rooms, borrow books and DVDs at the self-issue machine and use the printer/scanner/photocopier. You can also collect reservations at the self-service collect shelf and place returns in the deposit box.

Collection of interlibrary loans must be done during staffed hours.

The Library entrance and other sections of the Library have camera surveillance outside staffed hours. Theft and material damage will be reported to the police.

Security guards patrol the Library every evening after closing hours.
