International Day 2025
Join us for the International Day 2025 Wednesday February 12th! This day will be full of colourful stands, exotic food, international guests, music, dance and interesting talks. The event is open for everyone.

Students interested in exchange should take advantage of the study abroad fair where international students and guests from VUC's partner universities will be prepare stands with information about various destinations. We will also have a student competition with great prizes.
Programme: Wednesday February 12th (Berte Kanutte Building)
11:30 - Official opening of the International day with music, stands and student competition
12:00 - Presentation of IPEN Nicaragua, the winner of the 2025 Student Peace Prize.
12:55 - Announcing which student organisation at VUC has won the Prize for internationalisation
13:00 - Free international lunch, entertainment by students
14:00 - End of programme and announcing the winners of the student competition
IPEN Nicaragua
For the International Day 2025 will welcome a delegation from the Students' Peace Prize, including the laureats for 2025: Inciativa Puentes por los Estudiantes de Nicaragua (IPEN). IPEN is a non-profit organization that promotes the right of education and academic freedom. Several of the founding members of IPEN have been expelled from their universities in Nicaragua, and therefore live in exile to continue their studies and to be able to express themselves freely. Today, IPEN helps students in several countries and has helped at least 150 students continue their education outside of Nicaragua.

International guests 2025
For the International Day 2025 we will welcome a delegation from the Student Peace Prize including the laureats of the 2025 peace price, Inciativa Puentes por los Estudiantes de Nicaragua (IPEN). IPEN is an ideal organization working for the right of education and academic freedom.
In addition, we expect around 20 international guests from VUC's partner institutions abroad representing countries such as:
