International Week - International Day
International Day 2024
Join us for the International Day 2024 Wednesday February 7th! This day will be full of colourful stands, exotic food, international guests, music & dance and interesting talks. The event is open for everyone.
Students interested in studying abroad should take advantage of meeting with international students and guests representing VUC's international partner universities on stands. We will also have a student competition with great prizes.

Europe at a turning point - Pandemic, war and crises in the media
12:55 - Announcing which student organisation has won the Prize for internationalisation
13:00 - Free, international lunch
14:00 - End of programme and announcing the winners of the student competition
Roger Sevrin Bruland og Agnieszka Pospiszyl 
will visit VUC to share from their experiences as journalists in Europe during a time of pandemic, wars and crises. The last two years they have been one of the “war reporting teams” covering Ukraine for the Norwegian public broadcaster NRK. The award-winning journalists have traveled the whole of Europe, with an aim to paint the bigger picture – a rattled Europe dealing with enormous challenges to its defense and security policy. The lecture will discuss the rise of populism and anti-media sentiments in Europe and the effects of the Corona-pandemic. In addition, it will show an interesting case of how to ensure one’s personal safety and at the same time deliver world-class journalistic work.
