Are you one of the lucky travelling to Volda University College (VUC) this fall? We can’t wait to welcome you! Here are some useful tips for you prior to semester start, from where to go and what to do the first days in your new home town.

Did you know that Volda recently was named the least expensive place to live as a student in Norway? In Norway’s largest newspaper, VG, interviewed student Sindre R. Tronstad, who told them working as a student in Volda meant living in luxury! (Article in Norwegian).

And even though Volda is a municipal and not a huge town, there’s more than enough to do besides studying. Also for the one’s not longing for the highest mountain tops!

We gathered some tips for you on the page Student Life in Volda, that we recommend you reading before coming. Hopefully some of your questions will be answered!
