Legal Research Group
About the research group
The main research focus is on administrative law, welfare law and media law, but also other legal disciplines are relevant. The group welcomes researchers with interest in law research. The group shares, discusses and produces research-based knowledge on various law topics. The group aims at bringing in new and relevant research for use in the law education at Volda University College (VUC).

Activities
The research group have monthly meetings. The meetings are used to stay updated on relevant research topics and to discuss ongoing research projects by members of the group.
Partners
The group cooperates with Molde University College and Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. Once or twice a year they organize a seminar with other legal researchers from these institutions.
Some of the group members are also members of Research group of Family and Children Law at the University of Bergen. They have regular meetings with the research group in Bergen.
Projects
Some members of the group have an on-going project on children’s rights and responsibilities on social media. Other members have individual projects concerning different questions in public law.
The members consider at all times new projects, both internal and in collaboration with external partners. The group can also provide financial support to research projects.
