Course content

A theoretical and practical introduction to the production, design and development of audiovisual media. The course is central to the foundation of specialization you can choose in study program Media, ICT and Design.

Learning outcome

Students will learn and explore being a sustainable and productive creative producer through understanding their own creativity and how to build the skills to harness that creativity through production tools. 

Learning outcome knowledge

Students have practical, theoretical and organizational knowledge related to the production of audiovisual media.

Knowledge of dramaturgy and narrative technique in key fields.

Learning outcome skills

Students can contribute practical, theoretical and organization to stories told with sound, images and video in digital platforms.

He / she can also develop concept and design, understanding of advertising and roles within campaign development.

Can write and publish targeted media texts on digital platforms, eg micro sites.

Learning outcome qualification

Students get insight into why and how different roles is important in complex processes.

Working and learning activities

The schedule for instruction will normally be placed between the hours of 8:15 and 16, Monday to Friday. Rundown of curriculum, organization, scope and practical implementation of work requirements will be stated in the semester schedule.

Assessment requirements

The examination consists of performing and documenting the job to a specific role in a media production.

Students have individually selected set roles, which they can then put together a team to create a rich media product conveyed in digital platforms, this product counts for 40% of the final grade.

The student documents the theoretical basis for practical choices that are made, and organizational momentum that has spelled a role in the development process, in a report which counts for 60% of the grade.

The course has been evaluated in accordance with the HVO's quality assurance system.
