Volda students in sport competition in Molde

International office sponsored Erasmus students with half the fees for the University Colleges’ games 2011. Students from three high education institutions in Møre og Romsdal county will play against each other on Sunday, 9th October, in Molde.

International and Norwegian students have the chance to defend Volda University College’s honour in football, volleyball, indoor bandy, climbing or quiz. They will compete against teams representing Molde University College and Ålesund University College, in the University Colleges’ games 2011.

About the tournament

The competition will start on Saturday, 8th October, at 12.00 o’clock, in Træffhuset in Molde. After the matches, students will go to Molde University College, where they can relax and be part of the audience at the concerts prepared by the organizers. Food will be served in the student cafeteria Valhall and accommodation is prepared on the premises of the university college.

16 international students participating

The total cost for participating in the competition is 350 Norwegian crowns. The fees include the bus tickets to Molde and return, competition access, dinner, concert, overnighting and breakfast the next day, at Molde University College.

International office and Pangaia decided to sponsor the Erasmus students participating, with half the costs. Students will return on Sunday, 9th October, with the busses reserved by STiV – the Student parliament in Volda, one of the organizers of the event.
