    On friday October 5th, Cuban night was held at the café in Rokken. The presentation was put on by Jose Eduardo Garcia and Eduardo Garcia, which are the two exchange students from Cuba.

  • Sucessfull opening ceremony

    Approximately 4000 students, including 100 international students from 27 different countries, will study at Volda University College, starting this fall semester. The academic year opened with a big ceremony on Tuesday, and was a success.


  • Exciting module: Introduction to the Contemporary Welfare State

    Exchange students in the autumn semester 2013 have an excellent opportunity of getting insight into the Norwegian society and its welfare, as well as other welfare states outside Scandinavia. The course consists of three main parts and will give participants 15 ects upon completion, as well as a full overview on the Norwegian society, economy and politics.

Previous students in the course World Heritage – Geiranger, have shared their experiences trough blogs, which can be accessed via the new website.

  • World Heritage Experiences course reinvented

    Future exchange students at Volda University College have the chance to sign up again for the World Heritage Experience course, under the umbrella of the Faculty of Arts and Physical Education. The class has gone through major transformations, and comprises of two modules for autumn semester 2012.
