    The Doctorial Dissertation to Siv Måseidvåg Gamlem have gained worldwide attention. Two of her previously work have been among the most widely read articles in the world. Now, the third article has received the same status.

    In connection with the election of studentrepresentatives to the board at Volda University College (25.-29. of April), it was announced that there would be a price given to one of the voters through a random draw. Friday the 13. was no unlucky day for the winner: Erasmus-student Patrick Shuster.

    A group of Czech university teachers and students are currently on a visit to Volda University College to learn regional development from a Norwegian perspective. The visit may spur further cooperation in both research and teaching.

  • VUC top 5 in Norway on student mobility

    A survey made by The Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Education (SiU) shows that Volda University College (VUC) is placed 5th in the country, with 23 percent of the graduates having completed a student exchange period during their studies.

  • FUNDS FOR INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS

    The International Board at Volda University College has announced a competition for funds related to internationalization at the college. More than 600.000 NOK (app. 64,000 Euro) is in the bid and the board hopes that the competition will stimulate to the development of large projects.
