    VG journalist Maria Mikkelsen and Synnøve Åsebø won the journalism award 2015. The price was handed out by Harald Stanghelle, jury owner and political editor of Aftenposten. Mikkelsen has a journalsim degree from Volda.

    Over 200,000 tickets have been sold to SKI World Cup in Falun, 500 million are watching on television, and 20 journalism students are sent from Volda University College to film the event.

    Student band Among Colors are out with a music video for the song "Indefinite". The film is produced and filmed by students at Media, ICT and design and they have with them actors from Drama and theater.
